The museum was the most memorable part of BM2 for me, it was funny how extreme it was, and also Bobby and the german tourists obsessed with the gore.
I think they tried to replicate that in BM3 and giving you an opportunity to revisit it to see how it had changed. I'm glad it was there, but it should have played a larger role.
