You know, we didn't travel at all until the kids grew older. Today we make travelling a priority since we live in a country way up north where the winters are long and dark. We need the sun and when it's not available at home we seek it out.

It really is kinda of funny that, in some ways, I'm still the 16 year old, desperately in love with his doughter, but painfuly shy to say anything. I remember him as a very much austere man, not an asshole or anything, just very serious all the time, and kinda of a :"don't mess with my doughter" vibe. I'm glad to say that I was completely wrong about him! He's a very pleasant and a complete joker too!!

That's sounds great! I bet your son/daughter will enjoy having his/her grandfather around too.

I'm enjoying our stay with my parents! We eat a lot and I and my daughter go for long walks every day in order not to gain too much weight.
