Kate me is right... it would loose the charm and those beautiful hand painted/Drawn
backgrounds. Maybe 3D character on pre-rendered 2D art with 3D element integrated into the background... but it would have to be detailed enough to not loose the beauty of the originals. The games would end up looking like Monkey island 4 or the Tales of Monkey island, yeah they have an awesome story, voices, humour and so on but I have to say they have gone backward with the graphics.... the environments look so empty and void of any life. Theses games should remain the same.
