But yeah considering how few cities I've visited there >probably< are better cities out there but on the other hand sometimes taking a less used city rather than the paris/prague/london can be original

I guess you probably stood on the bridge (red arrow) when taking the pic?
The red circle on pic 1 is the last letters in the "Centralstation" -sig.
Anyways, that is from the city core, close to Vasagatan. Centralstation is the station that connects all the commuter trains in Stockholm (not the subway though, that would be T-centralen, just a couple of maybe 100 meters away).
On the upper left corner of your pic, we have the "World trade center" which has nothing to do with the 9/11 in NYC. This is just a business complex with the same name!
