You mean windowboxed? Hmm how unusual. I can understand the pillarboxing in order to preserve the aspect ratio, but the futher letterboxing is just unnecessary. I wonder why the computer would do that. Are you perhaps runnning the desktop at a low resolution? Try setting the desktop resolution at the TV's native resolution (1280x720? 1920x1080?), and see what happens when you open the game. You should be hoping that the pillarboxing is preserved, but the image should be scaled up in order to eliminate the letterboxing.
