But he could not end it. He tried. He wrote a letter to the orphanage and wanted contact with his son, but bad Roger refused the contact.
So Eddie wanted to change the bad mojo he started, but Roger was still "infected" and needed a cockroach cure. He needed to see Eddies world.

In this case, mom did it right.
She had the look of love / heart Eddie and Roger lack.
Both are very selfish and hate everybody, but both have the ability to love, buried deep deep inside.
