I know this has probably been asked before but I couldn't find anything a simple search. The walkthroughs have also been of little help for some reason.

I am stuck on the puzzle with the stone circle outside the old building, where you have to put in a 7 digit code of symbols on the trapdoor on the floor. I have tried all sorts of different combinations from tracing the map etc (West=black etc), but I simply cannot figure it out. The walkthroughs haven't helped as they give a code but its dependent on the 'wheels' being in their default position.

Can anyone tell me the correct symbols or give any sort of help into solving this?
