I hadn't forgotten, really. I moved here originally to help her take care of him and he died one month after I came. But I'm more inclined to celebrate his birthday or our parents' wedding anniversary (July 4).

I understand that. Mr J's parents both passed away when he was in his early 30s and we also focus on the happy occasions when remembering them.
