Oh, you just made me realize something.
Spoiler:I clicked on a few of the tombs without really thinking about it. Then later, back in the library, I didn't understand how Grace knew to take down that particular shattenjager's diary (the one from the 1700s). I thought it was a leap of logic in the game, but is the idea that she saw his tomb and birth / death dates on the tomb, so that's how she knew he was the Shattenjager whose diary would relate to the trial in the 1700s...? Makes more sense now!
