This was the first GK game I played, so I thought of Dean Erickson as THE Gabriel Knight. When I first played GK3 I found the Tim Curry version kind of rude and annoying. I like his personality better in GK1 than GK3, I think. Now, having played them all and with the perspective of many years, I see that GK2's Gabe isn't as clever with his jokes as he could be. But the character still works for me.
