Hi guys, check out my newest graphics sampler. This is a test backround of an actual location in a short game I'm planning on making w/ my brother & cousin. From start to finish it took me about 4 hours.
My method (short version): sketch w/ a pencil, then draw over it with a fast-dry gel ink pen (for no smudges). Erase pencil. Scan in black & white mode to eliminate paper texture, & have surfaces which are immediately ready for coloring. Color, lighten, darken, texture.
In the future, I think I wanna go with a bit more of a realistic color selection. And the inkwork needs to be cleaned up a bit, I think.
