To say this is so far my biggest disappointment of the year is an understatement. I am a HUGE fan of Tim Schafer's previous work, and his story telling, world, and characters are still wonderfully crafted here. My main gripe is with the gameplay. See Psychonauts, besides being funny, and having a great cast and world was FUN to play. Brutal Legend's gameplay is average to sometimes extremely mediocre. The game starts on an extremely high note till the end of the demo, then it goes downhill after that. I am a big fan of RTS games, but not on a console (due to the clunky interface), and especially not from a first person perspective. To combine these 2 aspects as one of the most major gameplay elements is mind boggling. Not to forget the repetitive and boring side missions. It's like plowing through the torture and pain of the gameplay to get to the wonderful story parts, which is a true shame
