I love the wind-up chattering teeth! Batarang fodder!

Just finished the demo, played it on my X360 so my experience is a bit different from you who played it on your PC.

Good and strong art direction. I actually don't mind the stylized "waxy" look, it works well with the overall aesthetic of the gameworld - it's based on a comic book, not on real life. I love the dynamic shadows on the characters, subtle but it lends atmosphere and believability to the environment. The character details are incredible! They're practically concept art come to do [digital] life!

I like the pacing a lot, steady exploration punctuated by some tactical stealth, then action moments. The detective angle is interesting, makes it feel more like an action adventure with a coherent story (however shallow, but hopefully not too shallow). The voice acting is spot on and very professional, particularly Joker's.

I agree, it feels a bit too easy for seasoned gamers. Then again, you guys are playing a demo and it's at the beginning of the whole game. In-game tutorial, anyone? That stated, I'm wondering what the Challenge Mode is about. Is it a higher difficulty level? I hope so. Is it some kind of time trial? We'll have to wait and see.

I'll have to detract slightly from Ninja's disappointment. A game designed like this can also serve as a gateway into the universe of gaming for people who are new to it and also love action movies like The Dark Knight. But yeah, it could use difficulty slider for the dedicated gamers. Is that what the Challenge Mode is about?
