Yeah. Extended family (e.g. great aunts and uncles) that I don't see very often (and in some cases, not at all) but family nevertheless. Plus, it's heartbreaking to know that even though myself, my immediate family, aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandmother are safe in Canada, so many others just like us aren't as fortunate.

Well, we have no way of telling for sure, but it likely wouldn't be the kind of utopia that John Lennon imagined in that song. Those power-hungry bigots hurting people in the name of religion right now would likely find some other excuse to hurt people. (See also communism.)
