I am playing on vista. It has happened too regularly through the game. Mostly when walking on stairs or walking through doorways. Lowering the resolution sometimes works and putting in xp compability mode also works sometimes. I don´t remember these problems the two times I played on xp. Now it happens constantly in chapter 5 close to the prison. The game came in version 1.01 from the box and I have not found any patches online.
