The Fry's in the south bay usually have a decent selection. Usually newer ones only, lots of Nancy Drew ones (probably part of the reasons more adventure games are now available in the US) and several casual adventure games.

But why bother when amazon/etc has them for the same price with free shipping? And steam has several adventure games as well.
