I just finished watching Felicity, back from '98. I started it because it's J.J. Abrams' first show, and I love his science-fiction work (Lost, Fringe). That I watched the whole thing through should give an indication of how much I loved it. It's a drama with realistic characters and situations, and it kept surprising me. It keeps throwing the characters in unexpected directions that end up making perfect sense and illuminating what you already know about the characters. And it doesn't end how I was almost certain it would. Actually, the ending was brilliant and poetic and heavily involved time travel. (No, really.) I have been so addicted to this show.
Back to Alias, now. That Abrams sure knows how to make a show. I hope the new Star Trek movie sets up a J.J. Abrams-led Star Trek TV show.
