The dead rise out of their graves and follow you around till you want to talk to them. A particularly angry one that was murdered and out for revenge comes up and slits your throat so you join the line of ghosts wandering around, where you can speak to them all you want.

I wish I had all of the adventure games in the world and enough time to play them without loosing any sleep!
