Agreed with everything you said Jellyfish.
If I speak badly of some adventure game, that doesn't mean game isn't enjoyable generally, but just on AG standards -- compared to other adventure games. For example I spoke badly of Operation Wintersun...but I still had fun with the game and enjoyed it.
Even a bad adventure game can be enjoyable experience.
There's something about the genre indeed; the standard of games so, that even the bad are good. Guess we just love the genre and solving puzzles so much.
