Barrow Hill isn't too bad on the scare factor. At least I wasn't too scared by it. I don't really play too many scary games either because I'm a wimp.
Sometimes I get curious though. I tried Scratches and it was really scary. It was a good game with an interesting story, but I don't know if I'd play it again.
Sanitarium might be right up your alley. It's kinda creepy, but not scary at all.
