Aww. You should talk him into playing one again. Even if he resists he'll probably remember how fun it was once you get him into it.
My father and I drifted apart and I didn't really realize how much I missed the horseback riding and golfing and so on until he was gone. When they're around you don't notice so much how big the gulf has gotten and then once they're gone, they're gone.
