When I small I had a pet, and I didn't know her proper name until after she died. Only later I learnt that the bunny I had been calling "Schnuffel" for all my life was actually a female bunny called "Schnuffeline". My sisters knew that, but I didn't. That bunny was older than me back then, by the way. She lived to the ripe old age of 13, when she had to be put down because she had damaged joints because she had been running up and down the stairs all her life. Otherwise she was completely healthy and fit, and would probably have lived on for quite a bit more, had it not been for her knees.
So yeah, since none of my siblings, yourself included, ever cared to tell me, I didn't know that my brother is called Dan.
It's out of my hands, you see!
