Underworld, followed by Underworld Evolution.

I disagree that the sequel was better. I liked the first one okay, not great, but not bad in concept. The sequel just did not follow. Perhaps it's suffering from the "middle of three" syndrome and the third installment will (as usual) wrap it all up.
