Yeah, I can't imagine how it should work on hardware of the time it was released. I can't imagine how it would work fine then, I mean, is this really a timing problem? CPU Killer et al really don't do anything to remedy the problem, but I guess they're not exactly the same as really having a slower CPU, anyway.
