Well that it will be creepy like Twin Peaks and Stephen Kings' work is the only thing I've read about it. I haven't heard anything about shooting or puzzles.
I read something about monsters coming from the dark and you must aim a flashlight at them in order to stay alive but I don't know if that was just gossip.
But if you judge from this screenshot it sure looks like it will include "dialogue, picking up objects and using them to solve puzzles" to me though.
