Yeah, movie gave in a lot. What made it really hard for me, was that I could barely even understand English at the age of 11(?), but with some help from dad's translating I could make it.
Then when the Monkey Island was released, I could do it by my own. I was about 13 when I played Monkey Island... I'm sure now, 14 years later I would enjoy it even more, because it's pretty obvious 13 years old kid couldn't catch all the jokes et cetera yet.
But I remember it was very funny even back then.
