Non-communist, doesn't mean that nations are fully capitalist, not even the US, and definitely not the European countries you cite. Capitalism as an economic system isn't related to democracy, capitalism also emerged with fascism. If these neo liberal democracies is the closest thing to freedom that we can achieve then we're in trouble, and equality is a joke.
