Since you're asking, I will tell (this may not make much sense to non-norwegian-speaking people..). The word 'havrepus' was originally something one of the characters in the book that I am currently writing said to her dad once when she was a kid, about six or so. They were out in the woods, and she saw a hare (a 'harepus'). It was a simple mispronounciation that caused some laughter, and stuck. After I told some of my friends this they thought the name was kind of cool, so they started using it on
me. And it stuck
