Some gamers have complained that Quest-Adventures have become stultified and almost always follow a more or less fixed mould. Some also complain that games are too short and can be finished in just a few hours.
Scavenger Hunter is an attempt to provide something VERY different and hopefully negate both of the 2 abovementioned criticisms.
The AI-Randomizer ensures that every single game is different (although after a few plays, certain general
procedures become clearer).
Due to this randomization, no standard walkthrough can be written since the permutations & combinations in the gameplay are immense.
However, the Developers (Anne & Hugh Gregory … Canada --- “Sagewood Software”) have uploaded a superb Hints post on their Site.

Since the structure of the game is so very different from the ‘norm’, the initial learning curve may take longer for some folk. If so, some general aspects and descriptions (accompanied by graphics) are being written in the form of “Supplementary RANDOM GUIDES” here :-http://www.gamesover.com/Scavenger/Scavenger_Hunter_Random_Guides.htm

Since myself & wife are flying to Los Angeles (non-stop 15½ hours) this evening ( Monday 8th January 2007) to stay with our youngest daughter (47 y.o.) & family the first part only has completed & uploaded. I hope that the whole will be finished by the about the end of this week.
It is in NO WAY an
alternative to the “Sagewood Software” Hints, but merely a supplementary addition dealing with some general (possibly y not too obvious ???) aspects.
