I gotta say, 21 grams totally blew me away! It was like some weird mix between Memento and Short Cuts (Altman's movie, if you recall it). Naomi was absolutely marvellous, and I'm totally hoping she will snag that one. And Bill Murray... wow... Who knew? Coppola is absolutely somebody that's going to be on my must see list from now on. Virgin Suicides was magnificent, as was Lost in Translation.
I totally hope that ROTK will win the Oscar, it would seem like a nice round-up for the incredibly artistic work and wear that those guys have put in. And the fact that so many actually liked it enough to come back to it. Even the most hardened critic, still wouldn't call any of the movies bad, and that alone is an achievement, methinks.
