Have I mentioned how fun it is to use your chainsaw bayonet on a Locust, at a range of about 2 ft., in Gears of War?
Lovely. The sound effects are awesome, too. Especially the sounds coming from the Locust who's being eviscerated. And the entire camera gets covered in blood and "Locust matter"....
The after affect is awesome, too. There's a hand here, a head here, a torso there, all slipping around in a pool of blood. And while you're applying the chainsaw to the enemy, the camera sort of tilts, providing a strange, but good, "creepy" feeling.
