Geographically, Scandinavia is the peninsula formed by Norway, Sweden and a part of northern Finland. However, the term is usually used culturally to describe Sweden, Norway and Denmark.
Looking in Wikipedia, I note that the Swedish article agrees with what I just wrote, while the English article is a lot more vague and likes to include all the Nordic Countries. (But then it goes on in more detail.)
