Actually, any quest-related dialogue in Morrowind was quite good, at times even better than that snippet of Gothic dialogue you provided. Only seeking information about specific things resulted in encyclopedia-like responses.
Do Gothic games even have that feature? I mean, being able to ask people about pretty much anything you've learned about previously?
