Not exactly stronger, more like, not dependent on time/space. Death cannot touch it. Therefore, yes, I agree that the movie expressed that you should enjoy it here and now, but on the other end also expressed a hopeful message that this love doesn't end where you ends and will find new people to touch in similar ways, here visualised by using the same actors in various time periods. Well, something like that at least, the movie does indeed leave much room for interpretation.
Anyway, thoughtprovoking and original it was nevertheless.
