Didn't the guy who recieved the package have to sign for it? they have to do that here - if it is sent as a package. If it's sent as normal mail, the receiver won't have to sign, but then again there will no way to see when the packaged arrived either. You could ask them to check the signatur, and compare it with yours. If it doesn't match your signatur, or if the guy who delivered it didn't ask for a signature, the post office are the ones who screwed up and will have to pay to cover your loses.

Anyway, how was it possible for anybody to steal it? Was the address wrong? who signed for it? why didn't they make sure he was who he claimed to be?
