I agree... but then again, as long as the system works as it does now, I don't see why foreigners couldn't tip like every american. (those who are warned, that is, I really had no idea that it worked that way... not that I've ever bought something on my own in the US, but I could have, and would have been consider a cheap bastard because I wouldn't have tipped
