Living in Sweden makes you cherish the hot and sunny days. (Stockholm is on the same latitude as the south tip of Greenland. But our climate is warmer due to the Gulf stream. (So far...))
You never know if a hot day is the last hot day of the summer. This week has been nice with around 24 C/75 F where we live.
The hottest so far this year in our part of Sweden has been 28 C/82F.
Last year my daughter and I went to Mallorca. The hottest we had there was 38 C/100 F. That's the hottest we ever have experienced, we were thrilled!
Mel, some day I'm going to see California to experience the climate and just enjoy the heat.
