If it weren't for the largely useless car customisation which seems almost entirely cosmetic (does EA put this kind of thing into every single one of their games, regardless of genre?), irritating 'EA radio', and unbelievably stupid catch up facility (which you can't disable
), this would actually be a pretty tight game.
The pursuits are great fun and most of the race modes are engaging and quite creative.
