You're not alone; I hate phone calls too. I don't like having people who might be total strangers call me for reasons which I don't know until I pick up the phone and plunge into talking. That's why I usually let the answering machine take care of it.

I also hate feeling rude by bothering other people with my own phone calls, so I make as few calls as possible.
