I believe Vin Diesel as Riddick is the incarnation (reincarnation? I mean, Jean Luc Picard is basically a person from the future, so Vin Diesel can't be the *re*incaranation, can he?) of Jean Luc Picard. They are both terribly annoying, and I can't stand either of them, no matter how good the movie is they appear in.
