Of course it´s bad both for the animals and for the persons when there is a car-animal accident. I don´t think it´s a sign that I don´t respect the natural world that I drive a car. I live in an area of the world where there are more woods than buildings. I have to deal with the fact that there are wild animals living in this area and I keep a reasonable speed not to end up face to face with an elk. I still need this vehicle to get from A to B. Showing respect of the natural world can mean a lot of other choises.
