Because it makes the characters more Human?

while I didn't play the new game (yet...), in TLJ the swears were an important part of the atmosphere of Stark, it emphasized the difference between the modern world of Stark and the fantasy world of Arcadia.

and anyway - can anyone imagine 'the flipper' without all the swearing?
