Not every game has to be real world. You are also getting into that murky, crazy ground of what is an adventure? To you, it seems it has to involve some suspense or danger or something similar. Not every game can be like that and not everyone wants their games like that. I liked both BS1 and BS2 alot but I also really liked BS3 (which involved danger and suspense) but they are different experiences.
