Secretly we're all getting into irrelevant topics in the hope that everyone else will get bored and go away thus making us the winner. It also helps to introduce boring nerdy topics that only people born in the 70's will appreciate at all, like the tale of two Coreys, since those should drive a lot of the youngsters out.
