I just have to echo this excellent post by Tabacco. You're overthinking everything and worrying too much about possible negative consequences. I was going to make that observation in my last post, but forgot. EVERYTHING you attempt can go wrong, but you have to TRY to find out.
I hope you will take all the advice in this thread into consideration. I have lurked here for a long time and seen lots of people greatly improve their lives thanks to the advice and support of Trep & friends. I can also think of at least one person who was stuck in a rut for years (until recently) by stubbornly ignoring what was excellent and practical advice. Your current attitude reminds me of her.
We're not getting at you, we just want you to succeed! But as per your wishes, this is my last post on the subject...
