Everclear. I remember them, vaguely... they might be quite good. I heard The Crimea recently and they were fun stuff.

Also picked up a CD which was vaguely Doves/Radiohead today. The Other? I think? I can't be sure. First track is a fleeting drumbeat against a plainitive horn... really nice. Very epic, but for the life of me I can't remember the name... damnit! Ok Go are rather good too right now.
