I'm fine with the character animation poses, especially for such a well-drawn amateur production. It wouldn't bother me much at all. It was just an observation I noticed.
Maybe that could even be an inside joke that carries through the game a few times. Using technical limitations to your advantage for humorous effect, or something like that. Like Mystery Science Theater 3000.
