The new BSG is excellent, Olmos is the driving force behind that series and I just love his acting.

I tried watching the original old series once when a tv channel here aired it, but it was really horrible, couldn't even watch the whole pilot. Even though the effects guys are doing the exact same tricks as they did with Firefly/Serenity, they fit BSG also really well.
