You took the words right out of my mouth, Garyos. Path of Daggers was the last one I bought and I gave up halfway through that. I just couldn't take anymore. But the first few books were highly enjoyable, as one by one Rand dealt with the Forsaken. I didn't even mind that it was essentially Dune meets LotR. But as Jordan lost focus on Rand and spent more and more empty verbiage spinning out the dull intrigue of the Aes Sedai (Bene Gesserit) it became more like homework than reading for pleasure.
