I really think people will like this game, provided they go in with the proper expectations.

There was something I wanted to say in the preview, but didn't because I thought it might confuse people. I don't mind confusing you guys, though, so here goes.

To me, Keepsake is this year's Return to Mysterious Island. I don't at all mean in terms of gameplay. In that regard they're nothing alike (that's the potentially confusing part). What I mean is both are "modest" games that realize they can't be epic, but succeed admirably in working within a limited design. They're flawed, and they may not even score higher than other games, but they feel more like successful SMALL games than failed BIG ones. You come away feeling it was "surprisingly good" instead of feeling disappointed that it "fell short".

Or something like that.
